The goal of this invigorating idea - the water-bars mission so to speak, is to let „the spirit oft the water“ flow into and engage in festive gatherings and celebrations.

Enforcing the focus on the Festival guests/-dancers water-absorption, increases the collective hydrologic balance and shifts the atmospheric frequency of the festival, because of the waters characteristics of being a vibrational body into a «cosmic ecstasis».

Mere by accident we discovered the waters role as a central and engaging element for a new, transformational Festival-culture: As a circle of friends we have been organising an art and music-festival since 1998 in memoriam of the painter and visionary Manfred Stein (1940-1997) www.seedcamp.at. At the beginning good wine and delicious organic beer were acting their boozy parts in delighting the senses of the artistic audience.

2003 we started an experiment to substitute all of the alcoholic bars with fresh and energizing drinking water (the special technique will be described in point 3). The pleasant result was a much clearer and subtle atmosphere, which enveloped the whole festival valley.
The visitors were experiencing the festive activities more intensely and were more conscious of their own actions. (Today there is only one small organic beer-and wine bar at the «tree of life» gathering, a little off ground besides the woods that opens only in the evenings - the major remaining part of the terrain remains alcohol free and only healthy non alcoholic beverages are served.)

Inspired by this experience, we started to develop a pretty, easy to serve, portable water bar, with which we have been traveling to festivals such as: Fusion (D), Burning Man (USA), Symbiosis-Gathering (USA), F.L.O.W. (A), Envision (CR) Paradies-Festival (A), Rainbow Serpent (AUS), Purim (ISR), Funny Moon (CZ)... and so on...

The idea or philosophy behind this is simple but effective - it is based on the findings of the remarkable physicist Erwin Schrödinger, about water as a structural element in between the principles of entropy and negentropy: «... we need to absorb, from what we eat and drink not only light, but also regulatory structures. That means, we need to eat light and order.»

View to the Future

Since we noticed at big festivals that we can no longer get by with a simple Waterbar, we are currently working on a prototype of the Water Temple to achieve greater efficiency. We also want to apply with the project: Water-Temple @ Burning Man 2025 in Nevada/USA

The Health-Aspect

Through the consumption of fresh and clear water at the party (encouraged by appealing decoration, illumination and beams, which attract the visitors’ sensory, and are strategically well placed near the dancefloor) the amount of water intake is increased automatically.

In other words: the party guests drink on average approximately 1.5 – 2 litres (3 – 4 pints) more water per night than normally and thereby the effect of the vibration in interaction with the visitors, musicians and dancing people is multiplied. The water meets good response with the “thirsty” – their vibrations, emotions and thoughts positively affect the event like an amplifier:

• People are more thoughtful, considerate to and livelier in their “actions and doings” at the festival and experience the great festivals more intensively
• At big festivals (eg: Fusion, F.L.O.W., Samsara ...) the rescue efforts concerning circulatory difficulties are reduced by up to 30%!! Detoxification is accelerated
• Water has a strong cell regenerating effect
• Concerning the financial aspect and the erroneous belief of the organisers to suffer losses with the baverage-sales: the guests get more power by drinking water and are therfore able to consume for a longer period of time.
• Visitors, who only buy sealed plastic bottles are according to experience hardly seen at the water-bar.
• The significance of the festival’s spirit, namely a sacral encounter, becomes clear (the organisers´ original intention returns)

The whirl technology

The innovative whirl chambers are the essential constituents, in which water is carefully and spirally “speeded up” to extremely curling high rotator velocity.

The picture of the current shows a string of main and contra-rotating whirls whose velocities mutually magnify. Between them further, faster rotating and increasing micro-whirls appear.

This subtle and ingenious design/geometry of the whirl chamber can be compared with the natural decontamination of a stream in miniature. The effect is similar: particularly huge and sluggish cluster structures inherent in tap water are broken up and undesirable toxic substances are quenched.

The water gushing out of the whirlchamber is then in the glass vessel enriched with oxygen by a little hole and gently led to the outlet (for details and more information please write am mail to: office@wasserbar.info).

Using Healing Essential Oils

Last winter we experimented with the vortex mixing drinkable essential oils into it so we are able to emulsify the oils with the high spinning water one to two drops per liter is enough to give it a very refreshing taste of mint, lemon, orange, etc.

The oils we are using are tested by the FDA they are even made for oral use as they have an therapeutic effect beneficial for health

Required equipment

Water connection with at least 2.5 bar air pressure near the dancefloor/EU standard thread (adaptation-devices for all other models are at hand if needed)

Possible alternative to an absent running-water connection:
Local firebrigades are equipped with mobile watertanks in case of emergency and would therefore serve as first address to turn to (a re-pumping device would be available-worked out very well at the VooV-festival).
